As you know by now, the Pima County Sheriff's Posse is an all-volunteer organization. Therefore, we have to raise funds to supply our members with the supplies to do their jobs.
Concerned citizens and businesses donate either money or their time/services to the Posse from time to time. In appreciation for their generosity we list their names and links (if they are businesses) below and encourage you visit their websites or to patronize their businesses.
If you would like to be a Pima County Sheriff's Posse Sponsor email us at Sponsor@PimaCountySheriffsPosse.org and we will send you more information.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Posse is a Non Profit all-Volunteer Mounted unit founded in 1946.
Our goal is to keep alive the Cowboy tradition of the Southwest and to educate the public about the joys and fascination of Southern Arizona's outdoors on foot and on horseback.
The Posse contributes its time and services to community projects as well as trail riding events for charities.
The Posse participates in several Parades each year including the Tucson Rodeo Parade, the Green Valley Parade, the Tombstone Parade as well as the El Paso Parade and others.
To help raise funds a monthly Gymkhana is conducted. This event is geared toward families, giving adults and children of all ages the opportunity to participate in horseback events and games.
If you are interested in becoming a Posse Member and you want to give back to your community while enjoying the great outdoors by horseback (or mule) --
